Celebrating the 25th anniversary of accession of Yang di-Pertuan Besar Tuanku Abdul Rahman ibni Al-Marhum Tuanku Muhammad of Negeri Sembilan.

The silver jubilee was on 3 August 1958, but the state anniversary wouldn't normally have been celebrated until after the King's term of office in 1962. It's probable that the King's failing health forced the decision to proceed with the issue in 1959. The Crown Agents announced in mid-1959 that the issue had been printed and would be available 26 November 1959 for one day throughout Malaya and then for three months in Negeri Sembilan only. The issue was almost immediately postponed and then cancelled following the King's death on 1 April 1960. The print run was subsequently destroyed, but a few examples (including several marginal blocks of four) have appeared on the market.
