"Orang Asli or the indigenous people are strikingly different from tribe to tribe. In general, the Negritos, as their name suggests, are mostly dark-skinned and frizzy-haired, and their features reminds you of Papua New Guinean or east African people. It is believed that they arrived in Malaya 8,000 years ago. Nowadays, the Negritos are in a very small population mostly inhabit the northeast and northwest, and are the truly nomadic tribes of the Orang Asli."
