HONG KONG
Hong Kong(香港, alternatively known by its initials H.K., is a Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China situated on China's south coast and enclosed by the Pearl River Delta and South China Sea. The city is known for its expansive skyline and deep natural harbour. With a land mass of 1,104 km2 (426 sq mi) and a population of over seven million people, Hong Kong is one of the most densely populated areas in the world. Hong Kong's population is 93.6% ethnic Chinese and 6.4% from other groups.

Special Stamp Issue - '12 Western Zodiac Signs' issued on 1 November 2012 (Thursday).
Gemini : The twins Castor and Pollux were known for their brotherly love for each other. Pollux sought Zeus' approval for giving his own life to Castor who lost his life on the battlefield. Deeply moved, Zeus took both of them to the sky. The twins then became the constellation Gemini. Mercury is the planetary ruler of Gemini. A Gemini is quick-witted, good at communication and eager to learn with a thirst for new knowledge.

Special Stamp Issue - 'Chinese and Western Wedding Customs' issued on 23 July 2013 (Tuesday).
$2.40 – 'Gift Presentation' in traditional Chinese wedding etiquette is very much like a betrothal ceremony. On the day of 'Gift Presentation', the groom’s family will pay a visit to the bride’s family, bringing gift money, bridal cakes, coconuts, tea leaves, etc. to make a formal marital pledge.
In this stamp issue, red and gold, popular colours for Chinese celebrations, are used in three of the stamps to emphasise the cheerful bustle of Chinese weddings.
